I discovered this site when I saw I am second. written on a black billboard in white, rugged, handwritten lettering. This billboard didn't appear to be advertising anything, that is all it said. I am second. I was curious to what this billboard was about because usually a billboard advertises something or tells you to visit a website or something, and also usually a billboard tells how great whatever it is advertising is. In contrast, this billboard said I am second. It humbly claimed that something was better. I googled "I am second" and immediately found this site. This site is a website that is dedicated to telling others about the saving grace of Jesus Christ and proudly acknowledging that he is much greater than ourselves. On this site you can find many interesting and well presented testimonies of a variety of people such as Josh Hamilton, Jason Witten, Greg Ellis, Joe Gibbs, Brian Welch, Jason Castro, Tony Evans, and many others. The video testimonies that are shared by these people cover many issues of life including: abuse, affluence, divorce, fatherlessness, handicaps, meaning, pride, prostitution, purpose in life, racism, satisfaction, selfishness, sex addiction, substance abuse, success, trauma, and war. My favorite one is by Brian Welch, the former lead singer of Korn. All the videos are great but my other top two would be by Josh Hamilton, the Texas Rangers All-Star outfielder who was suspended from the MLB for drug use, and Karen, just a normal woman who faced many struggles in her life. To see how these people overcame such great struggles and give all the glory to God in their emotional stories is truly touching for believers and non-believers alike. I would also like to say that God has done some great changes and things in my life, and if it weren't for Him, I would be nothing. Thank you.
